Glossary for Data Center Geography Selections

In addition to the standard county geographies, the Data Center features custom county configurations to track trends for regional programs or efforts. The name of the geography will appear for selection from a drop-down list, if data are available for that subject.

Lansing Metro (MSA)
The 4-county Lansing, MI Metropolitan Statistical Area: Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Shiawassee.

Tri-County Region
Three counties comprise the Tri-County Region service area: Clinton, Eaton, Ingham.

Lansing Region Labor Shed
Ten counties comprise the Lansing Region Labor Shed service area: Barry, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Gratiot, Ingham, Ionia, Jackson, Livingston, Shiawassee.

Midwest Region
Six states comprise the Midwest Region service area: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin.
